Did you know? Despite the assumption that Morocco is a hot desert climate, most vineyards are in the relatively high altitude foothills of the Atlas Mountains where the nearby ocean's cooling effect make this an ideal grape growing region.
Fully hosted land program with Julie Johnson of Tres Sabores Winery, long-time Napa Valley organic farmer of grapes, pomegranates, lemons & olives, all Moroccan crops that the group will explore during their journey.
Services of a professional, multilingual tour director
Air-conditioned motor coach and high-quality lodging throughout the tour
8 dinners & premium wines included
Visits to: The Roman Relics of Chellah; Chateau Roslane, Les Celliers Des Mekne, and the Royal Stables in Meknes; tour Old Fez, the Medina and Medersea Bou Inania; the Alpine mountain resort of Ifrane; Ziz Valley; the Atlas Mountains; Marrakesh and its exotic bazaar, Bahia Palace, and Saadian Tombs; the picturesque coastal ocean town of Essaouira; the organic vineyard of Domaine du Val d’Argan.
Traditional Morocco meals (Julie is particularly excited about exploring Moroccan native cuisine, spices and marketplaces!) and a folklore show!
